Darlynn Photography Professional Photographer Margaret Ann … (that’s me)… I’m a big part of an awesome team!

I thought long and hard about the name of what to call my photography works of art. A lot of Photographers use their names to personalize their work but I wanted to be different, I pride myself in being different and reaching outside the box and I wanted my name to represent something that inspires me. The above photo is an image of my two favorite subjects that I love to shoot any chance I get, from the day they were born to today, I still pose them in front of my camera. Alyssa Darcie and Mersadez Lynn-Eva are my darling daughters. “My darling daughters” I thought, that’s it! That’s what I want as my name of photography works of art.. But how? Remember I said I reach outside the box... I took the Dar from Darcie and the Lynn from Lynn-Eva, now I have Darlynn Photography... That’s how the name came about ,

Hi! I’m Margaret Ann. I specialize in High School Senior Portraiture, Wedding photography, & Small Business ‘Headshots’, but I also absolutely love Children photography, Family Portraiture & just about any sort of portraiture you can dream of.

A little history…

It took forty-six years of photographing my life and the world around me (that’s right, I was born with a camera in my hand), if you were to ask my friends from high school, people I worked with in my younger years, (yes I even carried a camera to work), my family, practically anyone who knew me growing up in life. They will tell you that I was rarely seen without a camera of some sort. In fact I remember having a little gold Olympus camera that I carried in my purse… Just in case… I would need it. Traveling, (Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, New York, Mexico & Chicago) to realize what I truly love and want to do in life more than anything… photography!

Growing up with camera in hand… I am mostly self-taught. At first I was a bit shy about this fact, until I realized what an awesome advantage it can be to learn an art form free of boundaries. Then I had the honor to study with and gain the expertise of my instructor and mentor Richard Shelly, and have been shooting professionally for over twenty years and I continue to absolutely LOVE what I do.
